Privacy note
What we collect
If you choose Accept, beatz.guru records simple visit statistics each time you view a page:
- your IP address and the approximate location it suggests (country, region, city) and network provider;
- your device, browser, operating system, screen size, language and time zone;
- the page you viewed, the site that linked you here, any campaign tags in the link, and how long the page was open;
- the date and time of the visit and a random per-tab session ID.
We use no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser for one year.
Why
To understand our audience — where listeners are in the world, which pages they visit and how they found us — so we can make better music, releases and shows.
Who sees it
The statistics are stored on our own server and are only seen by BeatZ.GurU. We do not sell or share them. Location is looked up offline using the DB-IP Lite database; no data is sent to other analytics companies.
If you decline
Nothing is recorded. Because this site is built around listening analytics, declining takes you back to where you came from. You can come back and choose again any time.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw consent at any time. This clears the stored choice in this browser; you will be asked again on your next visit.
